During the First Visit, What Can I Expect?

We may potentially ask that you hold your child as you sit with them in the dental chair. If your children are a little older, typically, we ask that you sit in the reception area so that we can build a bond with your child. We’ll perform a dental cleaning and take x-rays if necessary. We recommend that you continuously communicate with your child about how fantastic the dentist’s office is. Assure your child that taking care of their teeth and coming to the dentist’s is an excellent thing. Positive reinforcement always helps.
