This patient came to Dr. Lomke’s office with a poorly fitting temporary bridge placed by her previous dentist. She was embarrassed to smile and had lost her confidence. At the time that her tooth was extracted no temporary bridge was placed to guide tissue healing. This resulted in a large soft tissue defect leaving her unhappy and in a cosmetically compromised state. Following her consult we discussed multiple treatment options including soft tissue grafts, implants, and dental bridges. In the end, she elected to have traditional crowns and bridges placed to improve her smile. The treatment was extremely successful and we were able to create a natural smile while bringing youth and vitality back to her face.
